At 4pm EST today, Radiohead will play a surprise performance at the Occupy Wall Street protest in lower Manhattan, the demonstration’s website has confirmed.
Update: Hold on a minute. Radiohead’s publicist says “the band is not playing Wall Street today nor were they ever confirmed to do so.”
Update #2: Per the band’s Facebook: “We wish the best of luck to the protesters there, but contrary to earlier rumours, we will not be appearing today at Occupy Wall Street.”
