Music connects people to each other in a way little else does. If you’ve ever been in a club, arena, or stadium, singing your heart out with thousands of others, you know how powerful that positive force can be. The mission of the Playing For Change Foundation is to ensure that anyone with the desire to receive a music education would have the opportunity to do so. A documentary about the organization was made. It’s from this film that the Ben E. King classic, “Stand By Me”, traversed the globe, with musicians from every corner adding their own touch to the song.
