It seems like nowadays, post-apocalyptic settings are the perfect storyline for a plethora of music videos. Perhaps recognizing this, Aussie electro act Cut Copy went ahead and approached the end of the world with some tongue-in-cheek humor for the clip for “Blink And You’ll Miss A Revolution”. In said video, body parts of the band are used by high priests from the Planet of the Apes to perform a rousing, revival-esque rendition of the track that undoubtedly made the apes question everything they’ve known. And in an ending that proves man and monkey are one and the same, the apes burn the instruments down in a righteous blaze. If that ain’t proof of evolution, we don’t know what is.
