It took the release of six albums, but Alaska-bred alt-rockers Portugal. The Man finally made their late night television debut on Conan last night. Appearing in support of last July’s In the Mountain in the Cloud, the band dished out a flawless renedition of “So American”, complete with their own cello and violin players.
