Having just recently dusted off The Antlers sophomore LP Burst Apart after a couple months on the shelf, not only does it have the same power that it held back on its release date, but a little age does the album a lot of good. So, the band bringing out “I Don’t Want Love” for its September 6th appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon seemed like a happy bit of serendipity. Cosmic forces or not, the group’s recent late-night offering comes with the same standard rich musicality and emotion that we’ve come to love from the trio.
