Decidedly, we’re not always the premier experts on what classifies as “gangsta”, but we’re pretty sure it can be fairly open to interpretation. For instance, some might think the traditional definition of, say, early ’90s N.W.A. is what constitutes true gangsta-dom. Merrill Garbus acclaimed project tUnE-yArDs seems to look at the zen of gangsta on a whole other level in the clip for the eponymous track. Freaky images are one thing, but watching as Garbus and cohorts stretch and flex and bend their bodies makes us wish for the streets of Compton, CA every time.
