With eight male members, a plethora of horns, and a sweaty live show, the touring van for Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears doesn’t seem like the most pleasant second home. Nonetheless, the soulful, blues-rockers have spent nearly every day since the March 15th release of Scandalous promoting their sophomore release in clubs and music festival nationwide. That tour has now been stretched into an 8-month long saga, as Joe Lewis and co. will be spending most of November performing across the West. What’s more, the band has guys has also plotted a New Years Eve performance for the Windy City.
