Some two decades ago, Bitch Magnet began their rise to the top of America’s burgeoning post-hardcore subculture with the noisy, feedback-heavy, angst-fueled chords of Umber‘s lead-single “Motor”. Now less than a month out from ending a lengthy hiatus with a live show in Seoul, and subsequent performance at ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas, the trio is kickstarting volume two of their career with the same classic track. Cut from their forthcoming eponymous titled box set, the crisp, even more powerful, remastered “Motor” is just small piece of the 34-track career spanning compilation.
