Welcome back to Audiography! The latest edition features a discussion with Volta Bureau, the newest group coming out of Washington, DC’s electronic scene. In a city historically known for bluegrass, go-go, and hardcore punk, Volta Bureau members Miguel Lacsamana (aka Micah Vellian), Bernard Farley (aka outputmessage), and Will Eastman (resident DJ and owner of U Street Music Hall) and their brand of house music are making sure that DC’s electronic scene is known for more than the easy-tempo lounge feel most often associated with DC label Eighteenth Street Lounge.

For more information on Volta Bureau, including free downloads, head to Soundcloud, Facebook, and Twitter.
