Video: JEFF the Brotherhood – "Whatever I Want" (prod. Jack White)

In a far less shocking decision than, say, collaborating with the Insane Clown Posse, Third Man Records founder/occassional rock star Jack White also recently tapped fellow Nashville, TN rockers JEFF the Brotherhood for a Blue Series single. Out yesterday (10/4), the effort is comprised of the six and a half minute jam “Whatever I Want” b/w a cover of Tiger B. Smith’s “Everything I Need”.

Striking while the iron is hot, the droning “Whatever I Want” gets a video that matches the track’s capability to drill into one’s skull. Directed by Jo McCaughey (wife of White’s Raconteurs/Dead Weather bandmate Jack Lawrence), the clip sees the duo playing the slow cut while bizarre and disheartening things happen to pretty girls. We hate lamps and visits to the doctor too!

JEFF the Brotherhood is also set to hit up Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tomorrow (10/06). Their latest album, We Are The Champions, is out now.
