Ryan Adams‘ minimalist “Lucky Now” is arguably the most nostalgic cut from Ashes & Fire. Meditating on the death of Cardinals bassist Chris Feinstein and his own battles with addiction, the track’s music video is an equally somber look back. Between performance shots in an empty house and cruising around town in a sweet ’50s ride, the clip’s black and white footage and use of flames is a reminder of just how brightly the past will always burn.
