Demonstrating solid teamwork, 2K Sports tapped SPIN to curate the soundtrack for Major League Baseball 2K12. In turn, among several other major league talents, SPIN recruited Huntsville, AL rap duo G-Side, who eschewed submitting even more leftovers in favor of a new song entitled “Put Me in the Game”. The hazy, synth-heavy beat isn’t standard sports anthem material, but the boys’ rhymes about Ken Griffey, Jr. and hurling curveballs should make anyone wanna swing a bat. Stream it below.
