What: At first, the video for Liverpool-based Wave Machines’ latest single, “Counting Birds”, seems a straightforward black and white clip for a moody, baroque pop track. Then, at the 0:47 mark, a dark synth-pop beat drops and the employment of glitch/datamoshing will make you wonder who slipped what into your drink.
The “Counting Birds” single will be available in April.
