Stream new albums from Damon Albarn, Santigold, Rufus Wainwright & Lower Dens

    — The soundtrack to Damon Albarn’Dr. Dee opera is available May 8th via Virgin, but you can stream it now at NPR.org. Inspired by the life of mathematician, polymath, and advisor to Elizabeth I John Dee, the 18-track effort was recorded late last year in both Albarn’s West London studio and with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Salford. Valgier Sigursson mixed the whole thing.

    Santigold’s long-awaited sophomore LP, Master of My Make Believe, will be released on May 1st via Downtown/Atlantic Records, but you can stream it now at NPR.org. The 11-track effort features contributions from Major Lazer’s Switch, TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, and songwriter/producer Greg Kurstin.

    Rufus Wainwright’s seventh LP, Out of the Game, will be released on May 1st via Decca Records, but you can stream it now at NPR.org. Produced by Mark Ronson, the 12-track effort features Zinner, along with Wilco’s Nels Cline, Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, Sean Lennon, members of the Da-Kings, and his sister, Martha. Wainwright.
