Musician and producer Jon Brion will provide the score to ParaNorman, a stop-motion 3D animated film about a little boy who saves his town from zombies (via Exclaim). The soundtrack will be released on August 14th via Relativity Music Group, and movie hits theaters August 17th. Find the tracklist and watch a trailer for the film below.
On top of his production work with Best Coast, Kanye West, and Fiona Apple, Brion has already scored an impressive list of films, including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Punch-Drunk Love, Magnolia, Step Brothers, and Miranda July’s August. Pitchfork points out that Brion will use some of these previous compositions as temp tracks for ParaNorman.
In addition, the movie features voice over talents from John Goodman, Anna Kendrick, Leslie Mann, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Casey Affleck, and more.
