Audiography: Episode 057: “Jimmy Cliff”

On this edition of Audiography, we feature news and reviews of the latest albums by the emotionally troubled rockers Unnatural Helpers, the EDM wunderkind deadmau5, and the celebrated old crooner, Van Morrison. We also feature an interview between Consequence of Sound’s Len Comaratta and the ‘Jamaican Bob Dylan’, Jimmy Cliff, one of the first musicians to introduce reggae to the world.

Listen as the two discuss Cliff’s career, including why he split with Island Records, his desire to officially close his “reggae chapter” with his newest album Rebirth, as well as his induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was prompted by a fan’s petition.
