What: Austin post-rock instrumental outfit My Education have forged a sound that’s as heavy and overpowering as it is slick and cohesive. In the video for “Homunculus”, the group demonstrates just such a dynamic by pairing the auditory assault with visuals that bend and distort to a near-disorientating degree, as if manipulated by the music itself. Your senses may not love you for clicking play, but it’s a rollicking good time nonetheless.
The band’s latest album, A Drink For All My Friends, hits stores November 27th via Haute Magie.
