German industrial pioneers Kraftwerk have announced another eight-night residency. This time they’ll bring their talents to the Tate Gallery’s Turbine Hall in London, UK in February. Dubbed KRAFTWERK – THE CATALOGUE 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, the event “will be a chronological exploration of the group’s sonic and visual experiments” that utilizes “spectacular 3D visualisations and effects,” according to a press release.

Kicking off February 6th with 1974’s Autobahn, each of the following nights will respectively cover one of Kraftwerk’s innovative eight albums, in addition to various compositions in their repertoire. The run ends on February 14th with 2003’s Tour de France. It should be noted, however, that these performances mark their first London dates since 2004.

“As a former power station, Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall is an ideal venue for Kraftwerk’s explorations of technology, energy and rhythm,” the museum’s director, Chris Dercon, states. ”Bringing together music, video and performance, these events will be true gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art.”

This rare event was put together in conjunction with the famed museum, specifically curators Klaus Biesenbach, Chief Curator at Large, The Museum of Modern Art; Marion Ackermann, Artistic Director; Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen; and Catherine Wood, Curator (Contemporary Art & Performance), Tate Modern.

Tickets will be priced at £60 per night and go on-sale Wednesday, December 12th at 7:30 GMT exclusively through the museum’s website. There will be a four-ticket limit and, oddly enough, it is not possible to buy tickets for the whole series.

Consult their full itinerary below, which also includes a hometown residency that starts next month in Düsseldorf and an appearance at Barcelona’s Sonar Festival in June.
