Funk punk figurehead Billy Bragg will release his first album in five years, Tooth & Nail, on March 19th through Cooking Vinyl. It will be available in CD and LP formats, and as a limited edition CD/DVD bookpack containing a 36-page book of photo and essays written by Bragg.
The album was recorded in just five days wit Grammy Award winning producer Joe Henry. Bragg recorded his vocals live without retakes or overdubs, accompanied by a studio lineup of Greg Leisz (Bon Iver), Patrick Warren (Lana Del Rey), Jay Bellerose (Regina Spektor) and David Piltch (Ramblin’ Jack Eliot).
