Brooklyn’s Northside Festival — not to be confused with Denmark’s NorthSide Festival — is a multi-day music conference in the vein of SXSW, featuring hundreds of acts playing in various venues across the Williamsburg neighborhood.
This year’s lineup includes The Walkmen, Black Flag, Swans, Adolescents, Kylesa, Lambchop, Questlove, Solange, Mac DeMarco, The Men, The So So Glos, Twin Sister, Phosphorescent, Rhys Chatham and Oneida, Iceage, Lower, Julian Lynch, Son Volt, Why?, Torche, White Fence, Weekend, Merchandise, The Casualties, Ivan & Alyosha, Chelsea Wolfe, Braids, Jonathan Toubin, Lust For Youth, Milk Music, Sonny & the Sunsets, The Soft Moon, Chad Valley, Widowspeak, Selebrities, and more.
The festival also includes film screenings, art installations, and panels geared toward technology and entrepreneurship.
