The second annual Spring Awakening Music Festival took place last weekend at Solider Field in Chicago, IL. Consequence of Sound caught up with many of the performers for a series of intimate conversations. On this installment, staff writer Derek Staples sits down with superstar DJ/label head, Wolfgang Gartner, prior to his set on the main stage. He talks about how he enjoys having younger crowds at his shows, new singles he’s releasing off of his label imprint, Kindergarden, how he first started getting into dance music, and the difference between crowds at rock festivals and dance festivals.
