Listen to Cold Cave’s murky new song, “Meaningful Life”

Last month, Cold Cave revealed the title track to their “Black Boots” 7-inch, which we called “a nice homage to the Joy Division sound”. Today, Wesley Eisold & Co. reveal the single’s accompanying B-side, “Meaningful Life”. Despite its somewhat hopeful title and underlying message, the song continues to explore murky grounds and sounds, playing out as more of a slow-burning, funereal number.
