Rising UK producer Duke Dumont, who got his start remixing the likes of Bat for Lashes and Lily Allen, has shared a slick new house number titled “Hold On”. Though it’s not quite the official followup to his hit single “Need U (100%)” which the “it” boys of late, Disclosure, covered not too long ago “Hold On” still stands out as a burning and sensual groove-filled track, led by the soaring, wanting vocals of Londoner MNEK. Its heat, which is more the under-the-covers, intimate affair than steamy, dance-floor banger, sticks to the skin after just one listen and is likely more than enough to hold us over until the next Dumont joint.
“Hold On” will be released sometime in the future via Dumont’s own Blasé Boys Club imprint.
