Nashville-born, San Francisco-based indie rock newcomers Evil Eyes are gearing up to release their debut album, Borderlines, on July 24th via Eye in the Sky Records. In anticipation, they’ve let loose one of its tracks, the cool rattler “Shake The Dust”. Though it’s ushered in humbly, quiet guitars drifting and dissolving into thin air, it’s not long before the song kicks into high gear like a hot rod speeding off into the pitch-black night. Its dark and driving groove never shows signs of slowing, packing a determined, adrenaline-fueled vigor that’s complemented by crisp, bright guitar lines and chilly, whisper-like vocals.
