Mount Kimbie’s glum electro-meets-jazz number “You Took Your Time” (featuring neo-soul singer King Krule) receives a set of equally desolate-looking visuals. Pieced together by Swedish director Marcus Söderlund, who previously worked on The xx’s “VCR” and Miike Snow’s “Silvia”, the video pairs up the track’s tormented soul with grey, barren landscapes and even a fiery, blown-up car. Watch it below (via Nowness).

“You Took Your Time” is taken off Mount Kimbie’s sophomore album, Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, out now on Warp Records.
