Earlier today, we heard an early preview of Earl Sweatshirt’s new collaboration with DOOM, possibly taken from the forthcoming LP by Flying Lotus’ hip-hop alter ego, Captain Murphy. Now comes another star-studded track from Earl, this time off his own full-length, Doris.

“Burgundy” was produced by Pharrell Williams and features fellow Los Angeles MC Vince Staples playing the role of walking, talking, rapping Xanax pill: “Why you so depressed and sad all the time like a little bitch? / What’s the problem, man? Niggas want to hear you rap / Don’t nobody care how you feel.” Take a listen to the song at XXL.

Doris arrives August 20th. For more, listen to “Chum”, “Guild”, “Whoa”, and “Hive”. Or, just pre-order the whole thing.
