Detroit producer Zach Saginaw, a.k.a. Shigeto, will release his third album, No Better Time Than Now, on August 20th via Ghostly International. He’s previously shared two of its tracks: “Detroit Part 1” and “Ringleader”. Now, with less than a month until the new LP, he’s unveiled “Olivia”.
Atmospheric and moody, the three-minute number features hushed electronic effects that shine and flicker, snap and twitch — sounding like tiny raindrops trickling and shivering down a windowpane. (That, or this gloomy New York City weather has officially gotten to me.)
