Freddie Gibbs and Madlib continue to work their way towards their full-length collaboration Cocaine Piñata. Already we’ve heard their pair of collaborative EPs — 2011’s Thuggin’ and 2012’s Shame — plus the recent one-off single “City”. On September 14th they’ll return with another EP, Deeper, featuring two new songs, instrumentals, and bonus beats. The title track is streaming below.
In related news, Gibbs and Madlib have set a new release date for Piñata: February 4th, 2014 via Madlib Invazion. It promises appearances from Raekwon, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Joey Bada$$, Ab Soul, BJ the Chicago Kid, and more.
