London trio Mazes are following up this year’s sophomore album, Ores & Minerals, with a new EP titled Better Ghosts. Due out November 11th on Fat Cat, they’re previewing it today with the feverish, lo-fi rocker,”Hayfever Wristband”. Though it barely hits the three-minute mark, the cut demands attention the whole way through. Crazed, fidgety riffs pop and puncture, keeping listeners antsy on their toes, while singer Jack Cooper yelps maniacally during the loud, angular chorus.
