Sydney three-piece Movement combine the silky elements of R&B and electronic music, calling to mind the sensual late-night pulse of acts like The Weeknd, Sampha, and Rhye. Their newest song, “Us”, is a seductive number about love and lust, complete with a minimalist, mood-setting backdrop of shady, coaxing synths and subtle, but persistent heartbeat-like ticking. If the music’s not tempting enough, try the lyrics on for size: “When we’re alone in the dark / And I could take you right now / You’re the way that I want you / Moving for me”.
