Arcade Fire added to Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit, set shows in Miami and Los Angeles

As if this year’s Bridge School Benefit couldn’t get big enough, Neil Young has made another ginormous addition to the lineup. Arcade Fire will appear at the concert on September 26th, joining Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Queens of the Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis, Heart, Diane Krall, and fun. Another late addition, Tom Waits, will perform on the 27th.

Tickets to Bridge School 2013 are still available. Proceeds benefit the Bridge School, which assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs.

In related news, ArcadeFireTube reports, Arcade Fire will be performing a warm-up show in Miami on October 24th. The band is already rumored to be playing two shows in Brooklyn this weekend. Update: The band will play Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Center on October 24th. Tickets go on sale Wednesday morning. Update: According to ArcadeFireTube, they’ve announced another warm-up show in Miami for October 23rd at Mekka.
