Record Store Day has turned into a bi-annual event. In addition to its April festivities, for the last two years, record stores around the country have been selling exclusive, limited-edition releases on Black Friday, a.k.a. the day after Thanksgiving. The tradition continues this year on November 29th.

This year’s crop includes a “Black on Black” edition of Queens of the Stone Age’s …Like Clockwork; a Bob Dylan rarities collection entitled Side Tracks; a remix album of Elvis Costello and The Roots’ recent collaborative effort; The Flaming Lips’ new EP Peace Sword; a split 7″ of Low covering Rihanna’s “Stay” and Shearwater covering France Ocean’s “Novacane”; a reissue of Nas’ 1992 single “Halftime”; and a special edition of Metallica’s recent soundtrack for Through the Never.

Also on tap are live releases from Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, Band of Horses, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Dawes; a pair of outtakes from Uncle Tupelo; a reissue of Stone Temple Pilots’ debut album Core; a compilation of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ recent singles series; and a 2013 mix of Nirvana’s In Utero.
