Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp will release their brand new single, “Running To The Sea”, worldwide later this month, following its chart-topping success in their native country. In anticipation, they’ve unveiled its accompanying B-side, a lush but love-torn electro-pop number titled “Something In My Heart”. Jamie Dermott, leader of the chamber-pop ensemble the Irrepressibles, lends his chilled vocals, here, adding a layer of ghostly tension and longing to this already icy, digital soundscape. “‘Running To The Sea’ and ‘Something In My Heart’ are in essence both expressions of compulsion and its strong, often uncontrollable, persisting pull”, Röyksopp explained in a statement. “Dependence is a returning theme in our music.”
