Listen: Sampha shares solo version of Drake collaboration “Too Much”

Sampha_2013

R&B crooner Sampha has worked with the likes of Drake, Jessie Ware, and SBTRKT, but recently stepped out into the spotlight this past summer with his first solo EP, Dual. Next week, he continues the momentum with a new double A-sided 7-inch. It features two songs, one of which was just premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1. Titled “Too Much”, you may recognize it, as a demo version of it was used in Drake’s Nothing Was The Same track of the same name. Here it is in its finished form, a truly beautiful, bare-bones piano ballad.

Too Much / Happens arrives digitally on November 12th. The 7″ vinyl follows on January 7th via Young Turks.
