Bruce Springsteen is rumored to be releasing a new single, “High Hopes”, on Tuesday. As a nice little distraction in the meantime, Springsteen’s friend/occasional collaborator Joe Grushecky recently stopped by Sirius XM’s E Street Radio, where he premiered a previously-unheard demo from The Boss. According to Gruschecky, the duo co-wrote “Homestead” for Grushecky’s 1995 album American Babylon; while the final product sees Gruschecky take the lead, they began the recording process with a Springsteen-led version.
