Vertical Scratchers is a new act comprised of John Schmersal (ex-Brainiac/Enon and Crooks on Tape) and Christian Beaulieu (ex-Triclops!/Anywhere). The duo are the latest act to sign with Merge Records, who will release their debut album, Daughter of Everything, on February 25th. It was recorded live at Los Angeles’ infamous The Smell venue and features a guest appearance from Guided By Voices’ own Robert Pollard.
