New York-born, Berlin-based producer Andrew Fox, a.k.a. VISUALS, has a new self-titled EP out through Nicolas Jaar’s own Other People label. Already we’ve heard one of its tracks, the paradoxical “Solve for X (No Result)”, produced by Jaar and Dave Harrington’s Darkside project. Now, VISUALS has unveiled “Slowed Down”, a drowsy, almost psychedelic thumper. The cut shines best when it lets itself go, spinning slowly and drifting off into a faraway, fiery oblivion, a scene not quite unlike the fuzzy press photo above. Listen in below.
