Provided there is no concussion, bad pasta, or complete body shutdown, Morrissey will headline this year’s Nobel Peace Prize concert. Omar Souleyman, Timbuktu, and Jake Bugg have also been added to the December 11th event at Oslo, Norway’s Spektrum arena, joining previously announced performers Mary J Blige, James Blunt, Envy, and Zara Larsson. Actress Claire Danes (My So-Called Life, Homeland) will serve as the host.
Morrissey stated on Facebook that he’ll be performing three songs at the show. (No word yet if those numbers will be broken up by anti-hunting rants.) Tickets for the event are available online now.
