Watch: Pharrell unveils “Happy”, the the world’s first 24-hour music video

Not to be outdone by Bob Dylan, Pharrell Williams has unveiled what’s being billed as the “world’s first 24-hour music video.” It’s for his song “Happy”, from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, and it features 24 hours worth of skipping, dancing, twirling, and other activities most people would consider as joyous. (Though, I also assumed most people would appreciate Arcade Fire’s dress code, so nothing is a given these days.) The video includes mostly unfamiliar faces, but do be on the look out for cameos from Odd Future, Magic Johnson, Steve Carell, Jimmy Kimmel, and of course Pharrell himself.
