Now that the inane controversy surrounding Arcade Fire’s dress code finally appears settled, it’s time to get back to stuff that actually matters, like the band’s new video for “Afterlife”. Clocking in at eight minutes, it’s more of a mini movie that depicts the dreams of a working class family, specifically a father and his two children. With direction from Emily Kai Bock, it’s a beautiful piece of art that’ll tug on the heartstrings. Watch below.

“Afterlife” appears on the band’s Top Star-earning LP, Reflektor.
