In addition to serving as Cage The Elephant’s frontman, Matt Shultz routinely handles the band’s various artwork. For his latest creation, Shultz spent the last few weeks animating the music video for the Melophobia lead single “Come A Little Closer”. With an aesthetic that looks like R. Crumb started doodling after inhaling an entire mound of mescaline, the end result sees the band come face to face with a series of ghoulish figures. It’s only 8AM, but we’re ready to call this today’s big winner.
