As if Kanye West and Kim Kardashian riding a motorcycle through Monument Valley wasn’t enough real-life magic, now comes Kanye’s appearance on illusionist David Blaine’s new 90-minute ABC special, Real or Magic. He was one of many celebrities who watched Blaine put an ice pick through his hand and then helped pull it out. Kanye’s reaction was just as you’d expect it to be.
In addition to Kanye, Blaine performed for President George W. Bush, Katy Perry, Ricky Gervais, Woody Allen, Stephen Hawking, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde, among others.
The special saw Blaine forego a stage and glitzy props and instead perform in intimate settings, such as the homes and kitchens of said celebrities.
