Big Ears Festival returns in 2014, lineup features Steve Reich and Jonny Greenwood

Following a three-year hiatus, the Big Ears Festival will return to Knoxville, Tennessee during the weekend of March 28-30, 2014. Picking up where 2010’s lineup left off, organizers have booked an eclectic range of artists spanning various genres, specifically: Radiohead guitarist/composer Jonny Greenwood, composer Steve Reich, Velvet Underground founding member John Cale, and seminal art-punk band Television.

The 2014 lineup also includes Marc Ribot, Oneohtrix Point Never, Tim Hecker, Julia Holter, Colin Stetson, Dean Warehem (who will perform both solo and as part of Dean & Britta), Wilco’s Glenn Kotche, Son Lux, Mark McGuire, So Percussion, Dawn of Midi, Vatican Shadow, Nazoranai, and Ensemble Signal. Additional artists will be announced in the future.
