Prince is spending the holidays in Uncasville, CT, performing a three-night stand at Mohegan Sun Arena. He kicked things off last night with a 27-song, two-and-half hour set that covered most of his 35-year discography, as USA Today reports. Accompanied by a 21-piece ensemble, which included members of his bands 3rdEyeGirl and New Power Generation, Prince’s setlist included everything from classics like “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry” to the 1980s B-side “She’s Always in My Hair” and “Mutiny” from his one-time side-project The Family.
