Cloud Nothings will bring the noise to 2014. Today, the Cleveland rockers confirmed the impending release of their fourth studio album via a new teaser trailer. It also includes in-studio footage and snippets of new music, which suggests a continuation of the gritty grunge featured on 2012’s Top Star-earning Attack on Memory. Watch it below.

In a recent interview with Cleveland.com, frontman Dylan Baldi said the album was recorded in October at the New Jersey studio of producer John Congleton (The Polyphonic Spree, The Walkmen, Modest Mouse). “The new material is kind of a good mix of two very different types of songs that were on Attack on Memory,” Baldi added. “They are noisy but have catchy elements. So, like ‘Wasted Day’ and ‘Stay Useless’ from the last album, stick those together into one song and that’s the new stuff.” In a separate interview, he called the record “a little less melodic. It’s noisier and less straightforward. I think people will be able to handle it.”
