In March, Kraftwerk will stage a residency in Los Angeles, where they’ll perform all eight of their studio albums over the course of four nights. Now, the German industrial pioneers have announced plans for a one-off performance in Oakland, scheduled for March 23rd at the Fox Theater. Update: They’ve added a second date for March 24th.
According to a press release, the concerts promise to be a “perfectly synchronized audiovisual spectacle complete with pristine digital sound and 3-D projections. It is a pure electronic art-rave that showcases Kraftwerk’s musical and technical innovation.”
Tickets go on sale December 6th.
