Swedish musician and Sincerely Yours label co-manager Eric Berglund, a.k.a. ceo, will release his sophomore album, WONDERLAND, on February 4th via Modular Recordings. We’ve heard its lead single and opening track, “WHOREHOUSE”, now comes its “companion track”, a bizarre cover of Kanye West’s Yeezus cut “Hold My Liquor” featuring Chief Keef and Justin Vernon. Simply titled “My Liquor”, Berglund re-imagines the brooding original as a light, out-of-body, dream-pop spell, somewhat reminiscent of Animal Collective’s wild, technicolor jams. While the cover doesn’t appear on the forthcoming ceo LP, it is available for free download below. Check it out.
