Sub Pop labelmates Shearwater and Low teamed up to release a special 7-inch for Record Store Day Black Friday. Featuring a pair of covers, Low took on Rihanna’s smash hit “Stay”, while Shearwater offered up a truly unique rendition of Frank Ocean’s “Novacane”. Led by flickering vocals, foreboding and heavy, the cover travels far from its slick R&B roots and into much darker, disturbing territories. Listen in below.
