Listen: James Vincent McMorrow’s tender new song “Red Dust”

James-Vincent-McMorrow

On January 14th, Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow will unpack his sophomore album, Post Tropical, via Vagrant Records. “Red Dust”, the latest track to surface, follows in the footsteps of lead single “Cavalier”, a hushed, but emotionally-draining confessionary tale à la Bon Iver or James Blake. “Sometimes my hands/ they don’t feel like my own/ I need someone to love/ I need to someone to hold,” he reveals, his falsetto cascading in tender, feathery fashion, seemingly ever closer to the edge of romantic destruction. Listen in below (via Complex).
