Over the years, London duo Summer Camp have proven they have holiday spirit: in 2010, they took on The Waitresses’ “Christmas Wrapping”, and just last year pulled a festive Paul McCartney/Mariah Carey mashup of sorts with “All I Wonderful Christmas Is You”. Now, they return with an enchanting cover of the 1984 Wham! hit “Last Christmas”. Even when singing about heartbreak, the London duo know how to blanket the track in a gorgeous and dreamy glow. Summer Camp’s “Last Christmas” is off Moshi Moshi Records’ forthcoming compilation, A Christmas Gift For You From Moshi Moshi, which will, perhaps, be like the label’s last seasonal release.
